Handelsblatt | Demand for Luxury Apartments in Greece is Growing

Handelsblatt, Germany's leading financial newspaper, published an analysis of the Greek luxury real estate market following the release of Greece Sotheby's International Realty's proprietary research, Voices of Affluence.

In the article, journalist Gerd Höhler noted that Greece has moved from a market of traditional holiday homes to one competing at the very top end with destinations such as Mallorca, Ibiza, and Tuscany, citing rising values in Mykonos, Corfu, and the Athenian Riviera, alongside demand increasingly driven by authenticity, lifestyle quality, and long-term confidence.

"Greece has evolved on the international real estate market from a niche destination," said Savvas Savvaidis, President & CEO of Greece Sotheby's International Realty, describing a shift that has made the country comparable with Italy, France, and Spain over the past decade.

Mykonos, Corfu and the Athenian Riviera are examined further in the Intelligence Hub's Voices of Affluence report.
