Newmoney | Greece Sotheby’s International Realty Surpasses €200 Million in Ionian Sales, Setting Historic Records in Corfu

Newmoney reports on Greece Sotheby’s International Realty’s landmark sales performance across the Ionian Islands, with over €200 million in completed transactions since 2018, including six sales exceeding €10 million.

The article highlights the company’s record-breaking achievements in Corfu, where completed sales total €138.3 million, including the two highest-value residential transactions ever recorded on the island: a property in Kassiopi sold for over €15 million in 2024 and another in Nissaki for between €14 million and €15 million in 2026.

Drawing on the company’s latest report, The Prime and Super-Prime Ionian Property Market, the article examines completed transactions, property values and international buyer profiles across Corfu, Paxos, Lefkada and Kefalonia.

Savvas Savvaidis, President and CEO of Greece Sotheby’s International Realty, commented on the findings:

“The Ionian Islands have the longest tradition of foreign property ownership in Greece and one of the Mediterranean’s most mature prime residential markets. By publishing our completed transactions, we provide buyers and sellers with what has long been missing: verified market data.”

Spyros Analytis, Head of Sales for the Ionian Islands at Greece Sotheby’s International Realty, also emphasised the importance of transparency and realistic pricing:

“A market driven by asking prices and rumours serves neither the seller nor the buyer. Completed transaction data serves both. An asking price that reflects reality creates a serious and attractive basis for discussion between the two parties.”
