Greece’s national news agency, Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA), covered the launch of The Prime and Super-Prime Ionian Property Market on 27 October 2026. The new Greece Sotheby’s International Realty report draws exclusively on the firm’s completed sales in Corfu, Paxos, Lefkada and Kefalonia from 2018 to October 2026.
Completed sales across the four islands exceed €200 million and include the two highest residential sale prices ever recorded in Corfu. British buyers account for 56% of transactions and total sales value, followed by German buyers at 15%.
Commenting on the market, Savvas Savvaidis, President & CEO of Greece Sotheby’s International Realty, said:
“The Ionian has the oldest tradition of foreign ownership in Greece and one of the most mature prime residential markets in the Mediterranean.”
