eKathimerini | Non-dom buyers fuel Greece’s luxury home market, Sotheby’s says

Greece Sotheby’s International Realty was featured in Ekathimerini for its latest market research, revealing the growing influence of non-dom buyers in Greece’s luxury residential market.

Drawing on proprietary transaction data, the article highlights that non-dom buyers accounted for 29% of luxury home transactions in 2025, with the Athens Riviera emerging as the leading destination for international wealth relocation. Commenting on the findings, President & CEO Mr. Savvas Savvaidis stated:

For the first time we have transaction data and not estimates, documenting that Greece has become a host country in the great redistribution of private wealth that is taking place in Europe.”
