The latest European Center for Disease Control map now shows Greece as in the Green zone. This means that the number of positive tests has fallen below the dangerous 4% threshold of the tests performed.

Most European countries remain in the yellow zone indicating positive tests are above 4%.

Greek Civil Protection Deputy Minister, Nikos Hardalias, in his Christmas message said “there is no more important gift than human life. Every life. We shall spend the holidays with restrictions and a small group of loved ones. In this way, we will leave behind a year that looked like a long, harsh winter and pave the way forward with safety, optimism and above all health”.
