Apollo Hills has reached a defining moment in its construction journey. Hines, the global real estate investment and development firm behind the project, announced the successful topping out of the development – signalling the completion of the entire concrete structure and confirming that one of the most significant luxury residential projects on the Athenian Riviera is advancing exactly as planned, with delivery set for Q2 2027.

The topping out ceremony was attended by Grigoris Konstantellos, Mayor of Vari, Voula, Vouliagmeni, Paul Gomopoulos, Senior Managing Director and Head of Hines in Greece, Savvas Savvaidis, President and CEO of Greece Sotheby’s International Realty and members of the project and construction teams.

Located in Voula, just 16km south of Athens city centre and nestled at the foot of Hymettus mountain, Apollo Hills is a €200 million BREEAM-certified development designed by Porphyrios Associates and Diarchon Architects.

The project brings together sustainable design, world-class architecture and a distinctly Greek sensibility to create a residential community that is drawing attention well beyond Greece’s borders. Construction is being carried out by ELEMKA, with Greece Sotheby’s International Realty serving as exclusive sales representative.

Grigoris Konstantellos, Mayor of Vari, Voula, Vouliagmeni, highlighted:

“Apollo Hills has set a standard for how large-scale development should be done in our municipality, with respect for the environment, a genuine contribution to the community, and a level of quality that elevates the entire area.”

“Seeing the structure now complete is a proud moment for Voula, and we look forward to welcoming the finished development and its future residents to our city,” he added.

Paul Gomopoulos, Senior Managing Director and Head of Hines in Greece, stated: “The topping out is a meaningful moment for everyone who has contributed to this project. It is the result of months of focused work by a dedicated team, and it is good to see that effort reflected in the progress on site.”

“Apollo Hills has always been about more than building homes — it is about what becomes possible when expertise and a setting as exceptional as the Athenian Riviera come together.”

“We remain focused on what comes next and on delivering the quality that our future residents deserve,” Mr. Gomopoulos added.

Savvas Savvaidis, President and CEO of Greece Sotheby’s International Realty, commented: “Greece Sotheby’s International Realty has been part of Apollo Hills from the very beginning, and watching it take shape has only reinforced what we believed from the outset. The Athenian Riviera is firmly on the map as one of Europe’s most sought-after luxury destinations, and projects of this calibre are a significant part of that story.”

“International buyers are paying close attention, they are informed, they are selective, and they recognise quality when they see it. Apollo Hills gives them exactly that, and this milestone is one more reason for confidence.”
