Despite travel restrictions, Sotheby’s International Realty remained committed to expanding its global footprint and achieving strategic growth. In 2020, the brand opened more than 50 new offices across the world, bringing the brand’s total presence to nearly 1,000 offices in 75 countries and territories with approximately 24,000 independent sales associates worldwide.
“We are proud to be part of the Sotheby’s International Realty family and of the success of the brand in a year that redefined home and redefined what is possible”, said Savvas Savvaidis, CEO of Greece Sotheby’s International Realty.
“Our dedicated team of professionals adapted immediately to the needs of their clients in an ever-changing and often confusing world. This adaptability meant that people could still fulfil their dreams, safely and confidently” continued Savvas Savvaidis.
The Sotheby’s International Realty network has a long-standing commitment to virtual technology and it is this that helped pave the way for success.
As the buying and selling process, by necessity, become increasingly virtual we were ready and able to immediately engage our buyers, setting a new standard for marketing luxury properties.
Philip White, President and CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty in the company’s recent press release said “our 2020 results prove what is possible when you focus on quality above all else. We remain proud to be the real estate brand of choice for so many luxury real estate experts and affluent clients. We will continue to work tirelessly to prove their trust has been well placed”.
