Electra, the ultimate sanctuary and a truly stunning waterfront clifftop estate on one of the last hidden gems of the Mediterranean, Paxos island.

In an elevated setting, offering absolute privacy, the estate comprises a total of four buildings offering 360º panoramic views over Paxos and the Ionian sea. Its Italian architect-owner developed the main villa to blend in with the natural surroundings and landscape, building it from local stone, with fine attention to detail.

The main villa is on two levels and has a distinctive Mediterranean flair. Inside, the earthy tones of the decor and designer furniture create a wonderful ambience. Each room is air-conditioned, apart from the kitchen which has ceiling fans. Integrated iPod and iPhone speakers and underfloor heating are also installed in each room.

On the first floor, there is a generous size high-ceiling living room with a large ornamental stone fireplace, a country style kitchen and dining area next to the kitchen. All around this floor, french doors lead to large shaded terraces, boasting incredible far-reaching panoramas.

A well-appointed outdoor kitchen makes cooking in the open air under the starry summer sky a unique experience!

There are two independent sleeping areas on the ground floor level of the main villa. The first one, connected to the first floor with an internal staircase, has four double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and private dressing rooms. All rooms have doors leading to the gardens and terraces. There is a clock room along the corridor and various auxiliary areas. The second sleeping area, on the ground floor, is completely independent with a separate entrance from the garden. The open plan layout includes a living and dining room with a kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

A charming three-bedroom guest house is located just 50 meters from the main house, surrounded by a scented Mediterranean garden, friends and family will love coming to stay. The living room has a cosy fireplace ideal for cool winter evenings. The large kitchen/diner offers guests the opportunity to be independent.

At the highest point of the estate, right on top of the clifftop are the pool and pool house, offering dramatic sea views. The pool is surrounded by attractive wooden decking and sun loungers, creating the ultimate summertime recreational spot. A large shady terrace with seating, cushions and low tables is the place to be, to enjoy an aperitif watching the sunset. The views are simply stunning.

The cosy pool house has its own complete kitchenette, furnished with two sofa beds. A small hallway leads to the bathroom.

An external staircase leads to a spectacular rooftop. The mesmerising views the perfect accompaniment to sunset cocktails and memorable times with your loved ones.

The Gatehouse is self-contained and located close to the main entrance of the estate. It can be used as either staff quarters or for extra guests and has two bedrooms and kitchen facilities.

One of the highlights of the estate are the gardens. Bursting with fragrance and colour and filled with orange and lemon trees, a good number of olive trees and an organic vegetable garden, a continuous delight and relaxing way to spend a morning or afternoon walk throughout the year.

The whole property is fenced and gated while the drive from the entrance gate to the main villa has references to Tuscany with cypresses on either side of it and daffodils too.

The four buildings of the estate boast a total area of 722 m2 of living space while there are additional 116 m2 of precious storage and auxiliary areas. Although connected to the mains water grid, the estate has its own water tanks, amounting to 200 m3, to collect rainwater.

Plenty of space to add a helipad, a tennis court or an additional pool makes this rare estate your ultimate Mediterranean retreat.
