RECORD-BREAKING SALE

*** Venetian Times is the highest residential sale ever recorded on the island of Corfu. ***

Venetian Times is a landmark of Corfu.

The main house presents a blend of Venetian, Corfiot, and English influences in its architecture and decor. Entirely restored in the late 20th century, the estate offers comfortable contemporary living whilst still preserving the houses’ history and serene Mediterranean beauty.

Mature Mediterranean gardens surround the villa, and along the coastal side of the garden, the now rare Mediterranean maquis pervades the air with its scent. On the seafront, an exquisite infinity pool is surrounded by broad patios perfect for sunbathing. Pathways lead through the stands of tall trees which provide refreshing shade.

An inconspicuous gate in the garden wall directly accesses the jetty of the neighbouring harbour. The garden is planted with a wide variety of magnolia, jacaranda, cypress, lemon, and orange trees.

The house is provided fully serviced and can sleep, 12 people. The main living area is on the first floor and consists of two double and three twin ensuite bedrooms. The main house also includes the principal living areas of a sitting room, study, kitchen, veranda and seafront terraces. Four of the ensuite facilities have shower baths, and one has a shower. At sea level, there is a separate flat, ideal for staff, or teenagers, and comprises of one twin and one single room with a separate shower room, sitting room and kitchen.

The Flat is at sea level and can sleep 4 people. It has two twin rooms, a shower, a bathroom, a kitchen and a sitting room with satellite TV and air conditioning. However, the fully functioning kitchen can be used by guests on a self-catering basis and can be useful if there are small children or babies that eat at different times to adults.

The estate comprises a two storey building currently leased as a taverna and guest cottages as well as a new stone Guesthouse.

The guest cottages, located on the small road outside of the main gates, joins onto the estate’s taverna and is perfect for extra guests or staff, consisting of two floors with five self-contained ensuite bedrooms, two of which have the benefit of a kitchenette.

A newly built stone guesthouse, which reflects the turret style of the main house, consists of a top floor bedroom area with living area downstairs. This would make a perfect painting studio or music room, or simply extra guest accommodation.
