Gabbiano in Lefkada, featured in AD Italia with a standalone article.
In Greece there is a villa of the mysteries, on the island of Lefkada, in Italian Leucas (which has nothing to do with Leuca in Puglia), which surprises with its all-contemporary beauty. A villa of mysteries because it stands on that promontory, on which it is told, a temple was erected to the solar to the god Apollo. It seems that right from here, from its highest top, the unhappy lovers were thrown and Menander remembers that she was the poet Sappho, the most illustrious victim of these. The island is named after Leucas, the white spur of Katsiki beach, which rises high towards the open sea and Kefalonia. In Greek it is pronounced Lefkada and is one of the most beautiful islands in the Ionian Sea, south of the Apulian coast. For its location it is therefore easily accessible from Italy which boasts 12 kilometers of magnificent beaches, surrounded by the fragrant green of the Mediterranean and embellished by a transparent sea and the characteristic turquoise color.
